The IMCA Modifieds had the last main of the night but the track was still tacky and had many grooves
to race in. Jerry Clements took the lead first from his outside front row starting spot. A restart greeted
the field when Blake Walters spun. Clements brought his car to front for the second start and with
only one lap down a five car pile up greeted the field. Steve Carter had spun and collected Jim
Collinsworth, Bill Slocum, Fritz Croy and Walters. After the clean up Clements go the pack going
again with D.J. Wood and Alex Stafford right on his rear bumper. By lap four Stafford had worked her
way to the front and was putting distance between her and the pack. Dave Brinkley and George
Stange got together at lap seven for a yellow. With ten laps in the books George Fronsman reeled in
Stafford and took the lead. Stafford came back and they were side by side but she just couldn't get
the lead back. With 13 laps down a four car crash happened and the curfew took over. The race was
checkered under the yellow. Jeff Tarro, Brinkley, Wayne Devault and Walters were crashed in turn
two. Fronsman took the win ahead of Stafford, Clements, Tim Ward and Wood. Rounding out the top
ten were Brandon Eichelberger, Phil Baillie, Ryan Henesey, Croy and Ryan Roath. Heats went to
Devault, Wood and Stafford.

A yellow ended the chance of a win, ending up second.
